The federal government and the canton of Zurich have decided that our restaurant must be closed as of December 22.
We will use the next time to think about how to continue with the Taggi.
Welcome to the Taggenberg!
A cozy restaurant with a magnificent view over Winterthur. A sunny terrace in the enchanting garden. A restaurant with classics and surprises from the kitchen and cellar. In the middle of nature and yet close to the city. The Taggenberg is much more.
Take a seat, because being here is good for the soul.
The Taggenberg Restaurant takes a break...
As of January 1, 2021, the Taggenberg will take a break. I would like to open a new chapter after 8 years on my own and 25 years of self-employment. At what feels like my best age and at the gastronomic peak, I am venturing into something new.
Thank you for the nice encounters and loyalty, for the satisfied faces after the meal, for smiling at me, for encouraging me, for listening to me, for understanding my humor and for the loyalty that you have always kept me for years. I wish that memories of Taggenberg will be "beautiful and sweet" and maybe one or the other friendship will remain in private.
With these words, I sincerely wish you, your family and loved ones a reflective Christmas and a healthy, confident and powerful 2021.
I look forward to the new challenge and future and can only know if I am doing the right thing in doing it.
With heartfelt gratitude for all the beautiful moments, the encounters with all the guests and all that was, I am excited for what is to come....

(miss Taggenberg, Dutch-down on Taggenberg)
A cosy restaurant with a wonderful view over Winterthur; a sunny terrace in a fabulous garden; a dining room offering established classics and more unexpected treats from both the kitchen and the cellar. Surrounded by nature, yet close to the city – yet the Taggenberg is still more than all of that.
Take a seat, this place is good for the soul.
Warmest wishes from
